Captain Scoop (“we,” “us”) provides residential pet-waste-removal services in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you create an account or request service we collect your name, email address, service address, phone number (optional), details about your yard and pets, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers). During service visits we record visit photos, timestamps, and location data used to verify completed work.

How we use it

We use your information to schedule and perform service, bill your subscription, send service communications (email and, with your consent, text messages), respond to support requests, and improve our routes and offerings.

Text messaging & consent

If you opt in to text updates, we send service messages such as visit reminders, arrival and completion notices, and account alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate: payment processing (Stripe), text-message delivery (Twilio), email delivery, and hosting. These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention & security

We keep account records while your account is active and as required for tax and legal purposes. Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to staff who need it to serve you.

Your choices

You can update your contact details and preferences in your member portal, unsubscribe from texts by replying STOP, or request deletion of your account by contacting us.
